Fundraising
Client’s Goal:
Ayline Artin, an LGBTQ and Armenian singer, wanted to raise money for her first music video to tell her #MeToo story.
Steps We Took:
We set up a three-week Indiegogo campaign, an Instagram posting schedule, and messaged hundreds of people for her via socials and email.
Outcomes:
– Three days before her 3-week campaign ended, we reached her $7,500 goal.
– By the end of her campaign, we raised $9,300.
– Booked performances at “Take Back the Night” events at CSU Long Beach and Cal State LA.
Event Planning and Brand Awareness

Client’s Goal:
enrique Jesus Hernandez, an LGBTQ and Latinx musician, wanted to raise awareness of his story as a domestic violence survivor told through his EP “_Hunger City],” and of his Gay Guts showcase.
Steps We Took:
1. We planned his “_Hunger City]” release to be October 1, 2018, at the top of domestic violence awareness month.
2. Then, we polished his personal and Gay Guts Instagrams, and made him posting schedules.
3. Next, we pitched him to media platforms.
4. Lastly, we coordinated Instagram Live events with five therapists, The Family Place (first men’s only shelter), and FreeFrom (economic justice for survivors).
Outcomes:
– Hernandez and his projects “_Hunger City” and Gay Guts were featured on Billboard Pride, Homoground Podcast, and Girl Underground.
– His Instagram following increased awareness of his domestic violence survival story through his polished Instagram and seven Instagram Live events.
– Hernandez was invited as a guest at LA government’s press conference for domestic violence awareness month.
– Hernandez performed at a domestic violence awareness event at Pasadena City College.
Goal:
Create an event for young adults and teens to learn about alternative self-care.
Steps I Took:
1. Took polaroids and recorded interviews of 13 Los Angelenos practicing self-care for their mind obstacles.
2. Created a printed exhibit.
4. Booked the venue and created an event flyer with Adobe Photoshop.
5. Developed a heavily researched media list.
6. Reached out to all media contacts via email, phone, and social media accounts.
7. Created a posting schedule and unique, branded posts to promote the event.
Outcomes:
– Hundreds of the LA community attended.
– Roosevelt High School visited on a field trip.
– Increased followers and brand awareness.
